He was predeceased by: his father Herchel Ray Lathem; and his stepfather Ray Hudson. He is survived by: his sons, Justin Lathem (Brandi) and Jeremy Lathem (Loryn); his granddaughter Kathryn Elise Lathem; his mother Doris Hudson; his brother Chad Lathem (Rhonda); and his half-sister Gretta Griffith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
