It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Barnett Johnson of Oxford, Alabama, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Oscar Gerald Johnson; and her siblings, Frank Barnett, Johnny Barnett, Donald Barnett, David Barnett, Kathryn Hanson, Barbara Cates and Linda Watts.

She is survived by : her sons, Adrian, Kevin Johnson (Alena) and Noel Johnson (Pamela); her grandchildren, Adrieane Cooper (Justin), Casey Johnson (Kellie), Jordan Adams (Jake), Jonathon Johnson, Madison Johnson and Clay Johnson; her great grandchildren, Parker Cooper, Piper Cooper and Sophie Adams; and her sister Mary Ruth Harrell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Grace Baptist Church, 101 Moore St, Oxford, AL 36203.
