He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Smith (Martin) and Cindie Cruz (Art); his grandchildren, Shawn Shaddix (April), Rob Rayborn (Amber), Matt Cruz, Adrienne Rayborn, Brittney Brooks, Alisha Shatto (Ryan) and Brittany Kelly; his siblings, Perry Griffey (Faye), Helen Bates (Thomas) and Janie Lassiter (McKay); and his sister-in-law Zeffrie Griffey. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
