He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Hardin and Helen Hardin; and his brother James A. Hardin. He is survived by: his wife Christy Hardin; his children, Richard Hardin III (Stephanie) and Allison Hardin (Shannon Crocker); his grandchildren, Hannah Hardin, Thomas Hardin and Graham Hardin; his siblings, Becky Robertson (Roger), Betsy Barron (Billy) and Jean Adkins (Terry); and his sister-in-law Diane Hardin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Golden Springs Baptist Church Missions or Samaritan's Purse.
