She was predeceased by: her son Brentley Borer. She is survived by: her husband Richard Borer; her daughter Lisa Borer McGuffin of Ozark; her sister Glenda Short of Ozark; her granddaughter Meg McGuffin of New York City; her daughter-in-law Athena Borer; and her granddaughter Haylie Borer of Columbia, SC..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the First United Methodist Church's general fund at 167 East Broad Street, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
