He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Jones Dodson, Sr. and Jean Pennington Dodson; and his brother Rodney. He is survived by: his son Kevin; and his siblings, Gordon (Jane) and Celia. He is also survived by one nephew, two nieces and two grandnieces.
