She was predeceased by: her parents, Oran Russ and Doris Murphy of Moultrie; her husband Douglas M. Cherry; and her son-in-law Kip Garwood of Acworth, GA.. She is survived by: her children, Douglas A. Cherry of Ozark and Kimbery Garwood of Woodstock, GA; her grandchildren, Bailee Weber (Blake) of Atlanta, GA and Grant Garwood of Atlanta, GA; and her great grandchild Margaret Weber of Atlanta, GA.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home (995 S Union Ave, Ozark, AL 36360).
