He was predeceased by: his parents, George Osburn Beasley and Lillie McGill Beasley; his wife Lillie Earline Peters Beasley; and his son-in-law Leverette Phillips. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Phillips and Diane Weed (Bill); and his siblings-in-law, Sarah Byrd Cooper and Horace Peters (Elizabeth). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made in his memory to Ozark Baptist Church, 282 South Union Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360; or to Community Hospice, 368 James Street, Ozark, Alabama.
