He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Blake Hyde and Helen Virginia Duffee Hyde; and his siblings, Virginia Hyde Looney and Robert B. Hyde. He is survived by: his wife Sara Jane Enfinger Hyde; his son Lee Hyde (Kristen) of Dothan; and his grandsons, Parker Hyde and Grant Hyde of Dothan.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (4239 Co Rd 69, Skipperville, AL 36374).
