He is survived by: his wife Bethene Jackson Childree; his sons, David Childree (Nenita) and Phillip Childree (Stephanie); his granddaughter Christin Strickland; his great grandchild Aspyn Hope Strickland; and his sisters, Dixie Childree, Norma Mitchell (Gene Mitchell), Jan Sawyer (Sam Sawyer) and Linda Cook (Don Cook).
