We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2025, Eric Wayne Smith of Ozark, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Jackie Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Thomas Smith; his children, Kati Leigh Smith, Kali Emmaline Smith and Benjamin Thomas Smith; his parents, Alton Wayne of Ozark and Rita Medders Smith of Ozark; his sisters, Angie Smith of Ozark and Jennifer Williams (Brandon) of Dothan; his mother-in-law Debra Kay Stewart Thomas of Ozark; and his siblings-in-law, Anitra, Bill Cannon of Auburn, Jackson and Chalice Thomas of Ozark.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holman Funeral Home Chapel (995 S Union Ave, Ozark, AL 36360). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Southside Baptist Church (902 AL-123, Ozark, AL 36360).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Southside Baptist Church, 902 South Hwy 123, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
