She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert C. Farmer and Ella Gray Farmer; her husband Roy Howard Whitman; her son James Albert Whitman; and her siblings, Connie Farmer Peacock, Bibb Farmer, Jim Farmer, Guy Farmer and Cecil Farmer.
She is survived by: her children, Myron Whitman (Debbie), Joe Whitman, Barbara Wambles (Tommy) of Ozark and Becky Stafford (David) of Ozark; and her daughter-in-law Karen Whitman. She is also survived by Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1124 County Road 11, Ozark, Alabama 36360; or to the Ozark-Dale County Humane Society, P. O. 2502, Ozark, Alabama 36361.
