She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Monk and Nellie Wright Monk; her husband Delmar Ward; her siblings, H. G. Monk, Robert "Bob" Monk, Doris Todd, Jackie Lancaster and Juanita Stanley; and her granddaughter Nicole Stanley.

She is survived by: her children, Randal L. Ward (Terri), Karen Asselstine (Mark) and Kim Permenter (Robert); her grandchildren, Scott, Brian, Mark Alexander, Christina, Alica, Charlie and Courtney; her great grandchildren, Sierra, Riley, Issaac and Zoey; and her sister-in-law Betty Monk. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will be accepting flowers or if you wish a donation can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Helen's honor.
