He is survived by: his father Ewell W. Barentine; his daughter Christy Lane (David); his grandchildren, George David Lane, III and Brittany Elrod (Gabe); his great grandchild Adalyn Kate (Elrod); his sister Betty Oglesby; and his pet Bella.
