We announce the death of Linda McGlon (Ozark, Alabama), who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 76. Linda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Jean Clayton and Franklin Lee Johnson; her son Jermaine; and her brothers, Larry and Earl Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Terry McGlon; her son Anthonye McGlon (Reshunda); her stepdaughter Kiva Davis; her brothers, Rufus Crawford (Lisa) and Harvey Clayton (Regina); and her grandchildren, Damaris, Anita, Xavier, Shakivia, Kadidra and Keon. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Newman Mortuary (114 Harper Dr, Ozark, AL 36360). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Friendship AME Church. A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
