It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marty Parson (Ozark, Alabama), who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Marshall O'Neal Parson, Sr.; his pet Gunner; his wife Tammy Barefield Parson; his children, Blake Parson (Katie), Mary Jo McCollough, Auburn, Jackob Wright (Rachel) and Summer Wright; his mother Mary Franklin; his sister Vicki Grammar; his grandchildren, Aries Wright, Charlie Cluck and Mary Tyler Cluck; and his sister-in-law Sandy Yarberry (Buddy). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ozark First Assembly of God Church (170 Country Club Dr, Ozark, AL 36360). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
