She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Walter Earl Allen and Penny Florence Martin Allen; and her husband Ramon Harold Corridori. She is survived by: her daughters, Desa Elaine Corridori and Reyna Corridori Freeman; her son-in-law William Conley Freeman; and her grandchildren, Jeb Thomas Wells, Joshua Harold Wells, Ben Cohen Freeman, William Thierry Freeman, Paul Stabler Corridori, Giuseppe Soccio and Felicity Rose Freeman.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Reading Is Fundamental rif.org ---- an organization dedicated to ending the childhood literacy crisis.
