We announce the death of Ricky Bennett (Dothan, Alabama), who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Bennett Sr. and Annie Lee Davis Bennett; his siblings, Johnny Bennett Jr., L. A. Bennett Sr., C. W. Bennett, Cleveland Bennett Sr., Charles E. Bennett, Billy R. Bennett, Ruthie L. Hammonds, Florence Neal, Annie J. Brown, Pollie Ruth Carroll and Carolyn Bennett; his son Von Victor Williams; his brother Sonny Mack Bennett; and his in-laws, Carolyn Allen and Mary Teresa Sanders.
He is survived by: his spouse Corinthia Ann Bennett; his children, Angela Williams and Elijah Sanders (Mike); his granddaughter Alyssa; and his in-laws, Elijah Sanders, Dan Sanders, Samuel Sanders, David Earl Larry White, Jerry White, Benjamin White, Teddy White, Rose Anderson, Virginia Hicks, Sonja White, Rosie L. Bennett and Alice Bennett.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the All About Jesus Ministry (702 Blackshear St, Dothan, AL 36303).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ricky's memory to a charity of your choice, celebrating his spirit of giving and love.
