He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Roberts; his children, James Howard (Missy) of Saginaw, Maria McReal (Phillip) and Roy C. Roberts of Newton; his grandchildren, Quintin Roberts, LaPortia McReal, Phillip R McReal Jr., Tyriese Roberts, Sherkayla Howard, James Howard Jr. and Christopher Roberts; his great grandchildren, Malachi Holsey and Imani McReal; and his siblings, Roosevelt Roberts (Annie Cile), Betty Ann Johnson (Jerald) of Greensboro, NC and Darryl Roberts (Kywana) of Wicksburg.
