Sue Ann Guthrie Hunt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2025, at the age of 92, Sue Ann Guthrie Hunt of Ozark, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Guthrie and Cordie Mae Simpson Guthrie; her husband Willard Neil Hunt, Sr.; and her siblings, Donzella Breckinridge, Maxine Foster, Julia Ray, Nell Guthrie, Frank Foster, Sr., Howard Foster and Ruben Foster.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah George (Ron), Delphia Macon, Alyssa Wicks (James), Keith Davis (Denita), Glenn Davis (Geraldine), Rodney Davis (Diane) and Willard Neil Hunt, Jr. (Consuela); and her great grandchildren, James Wicks II, Markeese Davis, David Sims, Jr., Ian Hunt, Edward Jenkins, Jr., Zion Macon, Bryan Davis and Derek Smith. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Wings Chapel at Fort Novosel Building (6036 Andrews Ave, Fort Novosel, AL 36362). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Community Hospice of Dale Medical Center, 368 James Street, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
