He is survived by: his son Cornelius Borders; his wife Christine; his children, David (Valerie), Christopher (Sharon) and Paris (Frank); his grandchildren, Traivon, Christian, Monay, Serenity, Taylor, Justin, Jeremy, Cornelius Jr., Jamison, Davion, Devaughn and NaKia; his great grandchildren, Maverick and Trevor; and his siblings, Rosie Stanford, Larry and Leo Stanford.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newman Mortuary (114 Harper Dr, Ozark, AL 36360). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Westside Church of Christ. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Antioch Cemetery.
