He is survived by: his wife Norma Woodham Hilboldt; his daughters, Brandela Hilboldt Allport (Richard) of Ozark and Holly Hilboldt Swain (Drew) of Ozark; his siblings, Carroll Hilboldt Skinner and John Carroll Hilboldt (Susan); and his nephew Walter Stuart Skinner.

For years, he helped organize the annual Ed Hilboldt memorial golf tournament that raised funds for the American Cancer Society.
