With sadness, we share the passing of Jim Hill of Palmerdale, Alabama. Jim, born on January 5, 1952, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee Hill, Jr. and Marjorie Pugh Hill. He is survived by: his wife Julia Bunch Hill; his sons, Jimmy Hill (Evelia) and Jason Hill (Kim); his grandchildren, Morgan Wallace (Landon), Jace Hill, Jeremiah Hill, Jake Hill, Kaydiann Hill, Jackson Hill and Sam Leach; his great grandchild Chandler Hill; and his siblings, Bill Hill, Janis Hildreth, Jeanine Ivy (Paul) and Marcia Dennis (Ted).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Palmerdale Cross Baptist Church (4950 Faucett Rd, Pinson, AL 35126). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens (Jefferson Memorial Gardens Dam, Birmingham, AL 35235).
