He was predeceased by: his parents, David Audrey and Edith Maude Whitehurst Palmer; and his sister Edith Carole Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Jan Tolar Palmer of Pansey; his children, David Palmer (Kendall) of Dothan and Luci Adams (Craig) of Headland; his grandchildren, Tyler Adams (Anna) of Edison, Davis Adams (Jesilyn) of Birmingham, Anna Caroline Pahmeier (Jonathan) of Dothan and Camille Palmer of Homewood; and his great grandchildren, Desmond, Robin and Ida Grace Adams. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
