He was predeceased by: his parents, James Underwood and Rose Underwood; his siblings, J. W. Underwood, Rosalyn Black and Mary Elizabeth Richards; and his daughter-in-law Rebecca Underwood (Barry).
He is survived by: his children, Denise Larkin (Paul), Barry Underwood and Tim Underwood (Bonnie). He is also survived by five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
