He was predeceased by: his parents, Baynard M. Starr, Sr. and Almeda Starr; and his granddaughter Brandy Starr. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Starr; his children, Rip Starr (Janet), Rusty Starr (Cynthia) and Vicki Johnson (Johnny); his grandchildren, Eric Starr (Priscilla), Christopher Starr (Kayla), Campbell Starr, Walker Starr, Kelsey Stroud (Logan), Shane Johnson (Ginger), Jason Johnson (Melissa) and Katy Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Marley Starr, Preston Starr, Trenton Starr, Bianca Starr, Lena Starr of Emilia Starr, C. J, Stroud, Hunter Johnson (Kaitlin), Haley Johnson, Natalie Ann, Bennett Johnson and Sawyer Johnson.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Southern Heritage Funeral Home (475 Cahaba Valley Rd, Pelham, AL 35124).
