He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Davis and George Dewey Davis of Midfield; his wife Diane Waits Davis; his son Kevin Lee Davis; and his siblings, Margaret Johnson, Zella Listerman and Franklin Earl Davis.
He is survived by: his sons, Austin Davis Jr. (Adrienne) and Doug Davis (Danean); and his grandchildren, Molly Davis, Emily Davis, Matthew Davis and Evan Davis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
