He was predeceased by: his wife Jeri Thigpen; and his father William Jackson Thigpen. He is survived by: his mother Mary Evelyn Thigpen; his daughters, Ashley Glidewell (Matthew), Jesslyn Quinn (Jerry) and Candace Thigpen; his grandchildren, Jackson Glidewell, Jones Glidewell, Brooks Quinn, William Quinn and Maggie Quinn; and also Johnny Thigpen.
