With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Gean Thompson of Pelham, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 27, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Arzie and Margaret Odell Humphries; and her husband James K. Thompson. She is survived by: her son Ken Thompson (Stephanie); her granddaughters, Nicole Pass (Henry) and Mia Thompson; her great grandchildren, Lachlan Pass and Penelope Pass; and her siblings, Linda Smith, Sylvia Youngers (Hugh), Debbie Akins (Richard) and Billy Humphries (Cheryl). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and cherished friends.
