He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Edward Veazey and Tommie Lee Veazey. He is survived by : his wife Martha Ann "Sally" Veazey; his children, Dinah Veazey, David Veazey, Denise McDonald (David) and Mike Price; his grandchildren, Jonathan Veazey (Kristie), Brooks Veazey (Mary Ann), Garrison Veazey Andrew (Mary Katherine), Ashton Spann (Jonathan), Erin McDonald, Anna Shamblin (Connor) and Stacey Pickle (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, Sadie, Adalyn, Hallie, Stella May, Millie, Scarlet, Ira Lynn, Lucy June, Theodore Otto, Jude, Franklin Howard, Graham, Gaines and Grayson.
