He is survived by: his wife Junnie Adams; his daughters, Michelle Adams and Latoya Brown (Johnny); his sister Geraldine Manigault; his grandchildren, Corey Walker, Wendy Adams, James L. Adams III, Tiffani Mayes, Brandon Walker, Malek Adams, Jarvis Gaiters, Daveon "Nikki" Cathey and Clinton Jai Xavier Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Journiee Pugh and Chase Walker.
