He is survived by: his wife Tonie Hughins Mabius; his daughters, Annette Mabius Hauswirth (Daniel) and Holly Mabius Gallagher (Patrick); his grandchildren, Chris Majerik, Sawyer Gallagher (Kelsey), Katie Duchock (Keifer), Cody Duchock, Amber Gallagher, Shea Gallagher and Jessica Hauswirth; his great grandchildren, Everlie Gallagher, Bert and Tom Duchock; his brother Eddie; and his sister-in-law Bea Mabius.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (2701 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
