John Ellis Nichols Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Ellis Nichols of Pelham, Alabama, who passed away on November 21, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ida Mae Daily Nichols. He is survived by: his father Jesse Anderson Nichols; his brother Niles Nichols (Helen); his wife Mary Elizabeth; his sons, Chris Nichols (Michele) and Phillip Nichols (Betsy); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Nichols, John Charles Nichols, Sam Nichols and Ben Nichols; his sister-in-law June Horton (Donald); and his caregivers, Tarnise Small, Toneisha Nelson, Jayla Hubbard, Jessica Pearson and Grandaddy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family would request memorials may be made to either First Baptist Church Pelham, 2867 Pelham Parkway, Pelham, Al 35124, or the ALS Association Alabama Chapter, 300 Cahaba Park Circle, Suite 209, Birmingham, Al 35242.
