He was predeceased by: his parents, William Richard Pitner, Jr. and Lottie Marie Horton Pitner; and his brother William Robert Pitner. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Davis Pitner; his sons, Richard Nathan Pitner (Becky) and Jordan Blake Pitner (Christen); his sister Mary Jo Pitner Lence (Kenneth); his sisters-in-law, Betty Pitner and Linda Davis; and his granddaughters, Elliot Berkley Pitner and Sydney Abigail Pitner. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Southern Heritage Funeral Home (475 Cahaba Valley Rd, Pelham, AL 35124). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
