He was predeceased by: his parents, William Everette Young and Ida Louise Ralston Young; and his wife Marcia Katherine Shields Young. He is survived by: his daughters, Laurie (Leon Storie) and Sarah (Danny Thomas); his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Barbara Young of Brentwood, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Storie, Lydia, Tanner King, Amelia Thomas, Lane Thomas and Lily Thomas; his great grandchild Carter Storie; and his nephews, Bryan Young and Michael Young.
