It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Jordan Henson Jr. (Pelham, Alabama), born in Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Joe Henson; his son Dawson Ray Henson; and his father-in-law Charles Jaynes. He is survived by: his wife Kim Henson; his mother Rena Henson; his children, Heather (Carson Windle), Holli (Tim Robertson), Hope (Ross Thompson), Jordan Henson, Sarah Osula and Jeremiah Barrow; his grandchildren, Baker, Ridley Ann Windle and Callie Kate Robertson; and his mother-in-law Ann Jaynes.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Shades Mountain Baptist Church (2017 Columbiana Rd, Birmingham, AL 35216). A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
