With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Candy Leigh Wright of Pell City, Alabama, born in Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on May 10, 2025 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandmother Ivalee "Granny Mac" McLain; her uncles, Tony McLain, Patrick Sosebee and Wiley "Bug" McLain; and her aunt Jeannie Sosebee.
She is survived by: her mother Sandra Sexton; her children, Justin Harper, Laura Harper, Ashley, Shaundre Woods, Brandon and JiYoung Harper; her grandchildren, Lamar Woods, Evann Woods, Hudson Harper and Harlow Harper; her siblings, Shannon (Danny Tilley), Amanda Wright, Jeremy Wright and Jason Wright; her father Donnie (Karen Wright); and her siblings' children, Haley Peek, Hannah Wright, Dylan Finley and Dawson Tilley. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
