He was predeceased by: his wife Sherry Alverson; his children, Patty Stewart and Tommy Alverson; and his sister Peggy Bice. He is survived by: his son Chris Alverson (Deborah); and his grandchildren, Amanda Moses (Brody), Jesse Alverson (Kendra), Tyler Lejeune (Alyssa), Mitch Stewart (Ashley) and Samantha Stewart. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
