He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shockley and Glena Shockley; and his siblings, Gail McDonald, Lorenda Reynolds, Johnny Shockley and William Ray Shockley.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Shockley; his children, Justin Shockley (Lauren), Tracie Whitt, Malynda Stitcher (Homer) and Shelley Hastings (Kent); his grandchildren, Jamie Shockley (Krystle), Shelby Shockley (Nila), Adam Stitcher (Madie), Amanda Shockley and James Shockley; his great grandchildren, Addalyn, Jackson Shockley, Ella, Laney, Sypress and Memphis Shockley; and his siblings, Rena Douglas (John), Shena Ashworth (Patrick), Linda Shockley and Jerry "BoBo" Shockley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kilgroe Funeral Home (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL 35094). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Lawley's Chapel Cemetery.
