He is survived by : his children, Stephanie Wilson (Jensen), Rachael Duke (Robert) and Stephen Wilson (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Kamryn, Emma, Ashton, Dallas, Rowen, Addison, Anderson and Gauge; his siblings, Debbie Layfield, Johnny Wilson and Kerry Wilson; and his stepmother Dorothy Wilson "Sis".

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the North Valley Baptist Church (900 Woodland Cir, Odenville, AL 35120). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at the Macedonia Cemetery.
