He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie John and Clyde St. John; and his siblings, Lewis St. John, Johnny St. John, William St. John, Josephine Yarborough and Shirley Tollison.
He is survived by: his wife Clara St. John; his children, Monica Lynn St. John, Rebecca Lyn St. John, Shannon Rae St. John, Jered St. John (Pamela) and James St. John (Beatrice); his sister Barbara Price; his nephew Roland St. John; and his friends, Steve Poe, Widrow Wilson and Gaynel Knight. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
