He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Coy and Shirley Shell; his great-grandparents, Rev. J. C. Robinson and Charlie Ross O'Barr; and his uncle Howard Shell.

He is survived by: his parents, Amanda Stallings (Lester) and David Shell (Lynn); his siblings, Logan Shell, Sean Lauderdale, Travis Hanes (Chasity), Micheal Mosher, Amber Elliott (Anthony) and MarLynn Deranger (Chris); his grandparents, Larry and Sheila O'Barr; and his great-grandparents, Ann Robinson and Mozell Willingham. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.
