He is survived by: his wife Lou "Ellen" Allen; his children, Lori Allen Wallace, Andrea Allen Pettigrew (Bryan) and John M. Allen; his grandsons, Alex Freeze, Carter Freeze and Trevor Wallace; his siblings, Gil Allen (Elaine) and Kay Bunn; his mother-in-law Ladora Painter; and his sisters-in-law, Dratha Neumann and Debra Criswell (Joe). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
