He was predeceased by: his parents, Spurgeon Sellion Taylor Jr. and Hazel Earline Davis Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Linda Barger Taylor of Pennington; his children, Amy Dale Taylor of Monroeville, Erik Spurgeon Taylor of Pennington and Brian Stephen Taylor of Pennington; his sisters, Patricia Taylor Dickey of Chatom, Bonnie Taylor of Madison and Nancy Taylor of Tuscaloosa; his grandchild Taylor Allen (Callie) of Waynesboro; his sister Karlie Archibald of Mobile; his great grandchild Bexley Allen of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Karter Allen Starr of Mobile and Beau Allen of Waynesboro; and his niece Laurel Beard of Athens. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (572 Ebenezer Rd, Pennington, AL 36916). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
