He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl M. Smith and Faye Merle White Smith; his former wife Sarah Jacobson Smith; and his brothers, Frank Smith and Tim Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Hongping Wang Smith of Perdido Beach, AL; and his children, Bruce Smith (Isabel) of Pensacola, FL, Jeff Smith (Deborah) of Daphne, AL, Philip Smith (Courtney) of League City, TX and Junyuan Liv of Wuxi City. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Norris Funeral Home (402 E 2nd St, Bay Minette, AL 36507). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
