She was predeceased by: her parents, Dupree Elvington and Virginia Rogers Elvington; her husband David McKeaver Parker, Sr.; and her great grandchild Rylee Rae Smith. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Malaney (Neal), Dr. Cindy Parker (Michael), Lorrie German (Bill), David McKeaver Parker, Jr. (Linda) and Larry Parker; and her siblings, Nancy Henderson (Tom), Brenda Mora, Buzz Elvington and Ronnie Elvington (Betsy). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vance Brooks Funeral Home - Phenix City (3738 US-431, Phenix City, AL 36868). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
