It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Camellia Hicks of Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Bernice Hicks Bunkley; her grandparents, Marvin and Lillie Mae Hicks; her uncle James C. Hicks; and her aunts, Willie B. Clowney, Pauline Brown and Carrie Ivey.
She is survived by: her brothers, Joseph Hicks (Constance Starks) of Columbus and Claude Hicks (Jayrine Goolsby) of Atlanta, Georgia; her siblings' children, Latasha Hicks of Columbus, Georgia, JaQuavis Smith and Quashun Wilson of Columbus, Georgia; her great-nephew Elijah Souza of Columbus, Georgia; and her aunts, Emma Terry, Irene Dixon, Bertha Hicks of Phenix City, Corrie Upshaw (James) of Buffalo and Etha Westbrook of Long Branch.
