He is survived by: his mother Bertha Harper Owens; his children, Deyana Basilio, Curtis Simpson II (Shameka) and Curnisha Simpson; and his siblings, Susan King, Patricia Mathews (Tony), Vonzell Willams (Henry), Brenda Jones and Bernard Averett (Tara). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
