He was predeceased by: his parents, Durwood Marvin and Lucy Agnes Huckaby; his significant other Patricia "Pat" Ray; and his brothers, Carlon "Ray" Huckaby, Marvin "Lamar" Huckaby and Floyd Huckaby.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Shuck, Donald "Donnie" Eugene Huckaby Jr. and Jeffrey "Jeff" Todd Huckaby; his siblings, Louise Lenior, Faye Ryals (Harrell) and John "Johnny" Owen Huckaby (Suzanne); and his grandchildren, Cassie Van Den Akker (John), John Ryan Shuck and Lucas Kane Huckaby. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vance Brooks Funeral Home - Phenix City (3738 US-431, Phenix City, AL 36867). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Newsome Cemetery.
