He is survived by: his wife Melissa Benton; his children, Michael Benton of Clanton, AL, Jacob Benton of Russell County, AL and April Benton of Phenix City, AL; his grandchildren, Lily Herndon of Phenix City, AL and Ares Benton of Russell County, AL; his parents, Donald Walker and Becky Dunn of Pittsview, AL; and his brother Kenny Carter of Lee County, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
